We begin the visit of the magical city of Cusco and its surroundings, soaking up its history through the tour to the main archaeological sites such as Saqsawaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara to continue with the beauty of its architecture with the visit of the Koricancha or Temple of the Sun and the Basilica Cathedral of Cusco, built on the Wiracocha palace.
We left the city to embark on an adventure that would take us to discover the treasures of the sacred valley, visiting the archaeological complex of Pisaq with its impressive undulating terraces that adapt to the natural shape of the mountain, later we continued with the adventure passing through different towns to reach Ollantaytambo known as Living Inca Town, whose architecture impresses everyone who visits it.
The sacred valley and its diversity show us the natural wealth most valued by the Incas, the Maras salt mines, with more than 4,000 shalow ponds, worked by hand in the same way as in Inca times, this day we will also appreciate the beauty of the circular terraces of Moray unique in its construction, showing us the knowledge of agriculture and water management.
29 kilometers from Cusco city, known locally as a weavers' town, within its archaeological attractions it houses one of the most important pre-Hispanic roads connecting it with the sacred valley.
One of the 7 modern wonders, well-deserved title, world heritage site, we leave Cusco to board the train to Aguas Calientes, the last official stop, crossing the town of Aguas Calientes we will go to the bus station to be able to ascend to the Llaqta of Machupicchu, we will explore the place visiting the different important points of the Sacred City.
